Sharing part of me with the world
I started painting later in life before I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. It was a way to try to take the feelings bottled up inside of me and get them out. I decided that they would be better on a canvas rather than inside my body. I started painting what I saw and what I felt in order to make sense of the world around me. Now it's time to share some of that art with the world.
I started in acrylic because it was easier and the paint dried faster. hIt suited my ADHD inattentive style. As I grew as an artist acrylic challenged me back. It made me think more and plan more..
I started in water based oil because I wanted to grow as an artist. I didn't want to deal with all the solvents. Water based oils gave me the freedom to experiment and express myself in ways that acrylic seemed to want to limit me. Now I switch between the two. The best of both worlds. Free to experiment and experience the joy that comes with sharing something beautiful with the world.

It's possible but not guaranteed. Send me an email and we can discuss the options. We both need to agree on the concept and timeline. I'll want to consider having my work published outside of my home.
This will be determined by the cost of the materials, the size of the piece and the amount of time I need to put into the work. I'm not looking to make a living selling art. In fact, I'm not sure I want to sell art at all. But, you should at least pay for the materials and a little time if I'm going to let go of a painting.
No. If you purchase a painting, I'll deliver the painting myself along with my wife. You'll have to pay a little extra for delivery - not too much. My wife and I will make the trip to see where the painting will spend the rest of its life.
